Over the past decade, Peshawar city has witnessed unremitting violence and security threats which have impeded social and economic opportunities for youth to thrive and utilize their energies in a positive manner. With vulnerable youth both in schools and out of school, there was a dire need for focused efforts and initiatives to educate them regarding tolerance and peaceful co-existence. Given the strategic significance of youth-focused activities in Peshawar district, PAIMAN proposed an intervention named Youth civic engagement through Leadership, Peace-building and Conflict Transformation Trainings, Peshawar City.
